The Boreal
The Boreal is an on-going project that explores many aspects of Early Medieval through to Viking Age Ireland, mainly focusing on figurative studies set within this fascinating period of history.
Taking inspiration from Celtic and Norse mythology, the series sets out to further develop a fusion of classical art with the cultural heritage of Ancient Ireland and Northern Europe.
The Morrigan
The Morrigan is the first painting in The Boreal series. She is a complex and timeless character that blends classical aesthetics and Celtic mythology.
